Distant Sunrise is a faith‑based Christian band, contemporary, rock, metal ballad style led by singer Eric Drury. Our music blends life struggle, deep emotion, and messages of hope for anyone walking through darkness and searching for a sunrise.

We believe music can lift people up, change hearts, and help them see the sunrise even when they feel stuck in the night.
THE ANIMATION OF DISTANT SUNRISE
🎸☕Café Adorin’ is the animated story inspired by the real band.
- Café Adorin’ — the animation of Distant Sunrise told through fun characters and magical storytelling The café is a warm, imaginative world where animals talk, coffee beans dream big, and faith grows in unexpected places.
The Characters
- Dru Zaih Stephenz — the animated version of Eric Drury
- Cindy Licks — the guitar player who is a sweet black cat (but she might claw you if you bother her)
- Snap — the bass player who is a colorful imaginative and improvisational frog that has trouble sticking to the script.
- Jake is the stock trading coffee hyped guy that hangs around at cafe adorin' and we found out that he just so happens to play rhythm/lead guitar.
- Jake aka PawPaws — the happy sniffing drummer that loves everyone, even the cat and lives for the day to tear it up and make noise.
- Little Bean — the tiny coffee bean who becomes a barista and wants to fly to the moon
These characters show the real band members, but in a fun animated series.
Where is cafe adorin'?
☕ Follow the road until you see the sign that says: “You are now leaving CRAZYVILLE.”
A LOST LITTLE COFFEE BEAN DEVELOPS AWARENESS (an unknown addition to the cafe adorin' family)
In a dark forgotten corner— near power cords and coffee splatter, a little coffee bean born to be in the ledger, spun by Spidey in a nested web.
Power mixers hum, spilled froth stains the dark. Wrapped in spider silk, the lost coffee bean listens closely to every word that was said.
Alone, gaining wisdom. Igniting the dark. Till one day, he peeked out— with an awareness to be known.
Cindy comes in early to tidy up a few loose end before she opens up the cafe, and WOWza! She discovers a forgotten Little Coffee Bean tucked in a corner for so long that it grew into consciousness from a dark frothy forgotten place where a spider web has forever been entangled around power cords in the cafe. Spidey saw it all as Little Bean came into being!
Little Bean becomes a Barista.
but he wants to be more...
Little Bean building paper rocket ships in the breakroom sparks imagination.
